Conventionally, when one thinks of Microfinance, he s forced to think about reaching the poor in Rural. However, on the contrary their are few MFI in India, which are working for the unprivileged living in the Urban slums. Ujjivan, founded by Samit Ghosh is the only Urban based MFI in India.
